Food for soul
My personal artworks are influenced by nature, the Burmese culture and the human psyche. My subjects are mostly female, often depicting a state of my mind with a cultural flair. I work mostly in a digital medium at night when the stars align just right (i.e. there is some free time).

"Leader of the pack" Digital (Procreate)
Strong ladies are always my muse. She is wearing the traditional longyi that most women in Myanmar wear every day.

"Queen of spades" Digital (Procreate, Photoshop)
I made a “Queen” series of playing cards portraying Burmese ladies. Each of the suites are also associated with a significant flower of my country. Here, the Queen of Spades is with thazin flower (Bulbophyllum auricomum) which is the flower of the royals.

"Sunday born" Digital (Photoshop)
I was inspired by the Burmese zodiac which associates an animal with each day of the week. Born on Sunday, my zodiac animal is the mythical beast Garuda, which is a humanoid bird who hunts down dragons.

"The Rangooner" Digital (Illustrator)
The New Yorker magazine has always been a great source of inspiration to me. Many versions of their iconic cover has been made, and this is my version.
